Collection: Art Deco collection
Napier is known for its art deco buildings. It was rebuilt in this style after the 1931 earthquake. Each year, Napier hosts two Art Deco festivals, one in February and a mid-winter festival in July. Approximately 40,000 people come dressed in the Deco style to see the Art Deco buildings and join in the festivities.
